We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team and help us shape the future of our data-driven decision-making.

Key outcomes

• Collaborate with data analysts and software engineers across the organization to design and build high-quality data products.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using modern software engineering practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration, and pair programming.
• Architect and manage our data infrastructure, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with our existing cloud services and tools.
• Proactively monitor our data systems and address quality issues to ensure our stakeholders have access to reliable, actionable insights.
• Contribute to the overall vision of our data architecture while experimenting with new technologies, such as AI, to improve our productivity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a genuine passion for data.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud-based data ecosystems, specifically AWS services like Glue, Redshift, and S3.
• Familiarity with complex data modeling, ELT design, and Big Data technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a multicultural, collaborative environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Practical knowledge of data lakehouse architectures, such as Apache Iceberg.
• Experience with data management tools like Airflow, Fivetran, or DuckDB.
• Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
