We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, where you will play a key part in designing and maintaining the backend systems that power our platform. Your impact
- Design and develop robust backend services that support our retail platform and third-party integrations.
- Take full ownership of features from the initial design phase through to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product owners and fellow engineers to improve our architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and overall system reliability.
What you'll need

- Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on backend systems.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with a readiness to work primarily in Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, containerization with Kubernetes, and cloud environments like AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and various data stores such as SQS, NoSQL, and caching layers.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
