At Anon, we are building the infrastructure that allows enterprises to deploy authenticated AI agents for their most vital data workflows. We tackle the difficult problem of accessing information trapped behind authentication barriers, helping industry leaders turn manual, week-long processes into automated tasks that finish in minutes. Since 2023, we have raised 14 million dollars from top investors like Union Square Ventures and Okta Ventures. We are a team of 12 based in San Francisco, and we are looking for passionate people to help us build the next generation of AI applications.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our backend team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will help design and maintain the core systems that power our AI agents, ensuring they can securely navigate complex logins and process data reliably at scale.
What will you do?
- Develop resilient agents capable of navigating web interfaces, handling dynamic content, and extracting data from systems that lack traditional APIs.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable APIs and data pipelines on GCP to support our platform solutions.
- Design robust data models, optimize database performance using PostgreSQL, and manage comprehensive testing suites to ensure system integrity.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have 2 to 5 years of experience in backend development and a strong desire to solve complex technical challenges. We value builders who are curious, autonomous, and dedicated to their craft. Your background should include:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and cloud infrastructure like GCP.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
