About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team as a Backend Engineer. This is a full-time position that requires an active security clearance. You will play a vital role in developing the infrastructure that allows cyber analysts to predict threats and take preemptive action against attacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement resilient backend systems capable of processing and enriching massive volumes of data.
• Develop, scale, and refine our machine learning infrastructure to ensure high performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to translate complex needs into tailored, effective data systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in backend engineering, with a strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Proven experience working with cloud-based solutions and containerization tools like Kubernetes.
• An active or recent TS/SCI security clearance.
• A deep commitment to supporting national security interests.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time if you are not based in the Washington D.C. area.

Location

This position is remote within the United States, though you may occasionally travel to our offices in Washington D.C. for in-person collaboration.
