We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us continue to revolutionize the lending landscape.
What you'll be doing
- Take ownership of the development of high-impact features and improvements for our API integration platform, which serves as the backbone for our product suite.
- Manage the integration of new consumer-permissioned data APIs into our existing infrastructure.
- Enhance observability and monitoring for our API integrations and data ingestion processes to better serve our internal teams and external customers.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building scalable systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience at a technology company based in the U.S. or Canada.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience integrating external APIs using protocols like OAuth, JWT, HTTPS, and webhooks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience building web systems with frameworks like Express.js.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with schema design, advanced queries, and database optimization.
- Experience designing high-performance solutions within AWS and the ability to clearly communicate your architectural decisions.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Kibana.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.
