Software Development Engineer at Symmetry Systems

As we continue to grow our footprint in the Data Security Posture Management space, we are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help us build products that our customers truly rely on.

What you'll be doing

• You will design, build, and optimize the core data security analytics systems that serve as the foundation for our DataGuard platform.
• You will partner with our security experts to analyze cloud attack vectors and develop automated solutions to detect, prevent, and resolve potential threats.
• You will collaborate across product, platform, and infrastructure teams to drive technical standards and implement innovative security controls that align with our customers' business needs.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in cloud engineering and a passion for security. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Advanced experience with cloud architecture and security on at least one major public cloud provider, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience in back end development, specifically with managing large volumes of data.
• A solid understanding of database systems and data storage within cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of the SDLC and CI/CD practices within the cloud.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain your work to diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Data Security, IAM, Threat Modeling, and Penetration Testing is highly valued.
