Key outcomes
- Design and implement high-performance data collection technologies using languages such as Node.js, Java, or Go.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, testing, and deployment of scalable infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize reliable web scraping processes to support our platform needs.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, including latency and throughput challenges in data processing.
- Establish robust operational workflows, such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and proactive monitoring systems.
- Collaborate through design discussions and code reviews to provide constructive feedback that elevates team performance.
- Troubleshoot complex software failures by analyzing logs, metrics, and code errors.
- Mentor junior engineers to foster technical growth and operational excellence within the team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Three to five years of professional development experience using modern languages like TypeScript, C#, Java, or Python.
- Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and various software design patterns.
- Experience with AWS services, including S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, and ElasticCache.
- Technical expertise in database technologies such as Elastic Search, Mongo, Dynamo, MySQL, Postgres, or Redshift.
- Practical experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with web scraping libraries, browser automation tools like Selenium or Puppeteer, and bot-detection technologies.
- Proven experience working within Agile development environments.
Preferred qualifications
- A master’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Background in startup, retail, digital advertising, or e-commerce industries.
- Experience building and deploying complex applications on distributed systems for large user bases.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies for batch and streaming processing.
- Familiarity with machine learning models and LLMs.
- A track record of delivering scalable, sustainable, and high-quality production systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is 150,000 USD to 170,000 USD. We provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, which includes:
