Software Development Engineer (Full Stack) at TerraClear

What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Development Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work in a hybrid environment based out of Issaquah, Washington. You will be instrumental in building applications that span web, mobile, and Linux platforms, directly impacting our ability to scale our commercial rock mapping services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and deploying front-end interfaces, REST-based back-end services, and robust database schemas.
• Collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams to translate functional requirements into high-quality technical designs.
• Leading structured design reviews to ensure our systems remain scalable, secure, and up to date with modern development practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess at least four years of professional experience and a strong foundation in computer science. We value candidates who have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. You must be proficient in English and hold a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or have commensurate professional experience. Your technical toolkit should include expertise in React, React Native, and PostgreSQL. Additionally, you should be comfortable working with Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator and enjoys working within a team to solve complex technical problems.
