The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Croatia. This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced professional who is ready to take ownership of complex systems. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical direction and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Core responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, globally distributed applications while overseeing the design of all necessary modules and subsystems.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts across production and development environments to ensure our software remains reliable and performant.
• Mentor team members through rigorous code reviews and provide technical guidance to elevate our collective engineering standards.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of software engineering principles and a commitment to quality. We require proficiency in the following areas:

• Advanced expertise in JavaScript and at least one additional programming language.
• Strong capability in designing and implementing both SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UNIX-like systems and modern deployment workflows.
• Proven experience in system architecture, task estimation, and project prioritization.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical designs to diverse stakeholders.
