We are looking for a dedicated Software Developer to join our team in Canada, focusing on test and release engineering. At Arteria AI, we are transforming the financial services industry by replacing manual, legacy documentation processes with an intelligent, data-first platform. Our technology structures data at the start of the documentation lifecycle, enabling global financial institutions to achieve straight-through processing and faster decision-making. Recognized as a leader in the field, including being named to the CB Insights AI 100 list, we are seeking a collaborative professional to help us maintain the high quality and reliability of our enterprise solutions.
Key outcomes
- Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, covering unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance our CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and professional services teams to ensure features are testable and meet user needs.
- Monitor application-level metrics and analyze test results to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Advocate for quality assurance best practices across the engineering department to empower all developers to own the quality of their work.
- Conduct performance and security testing to ensure our platform remains scalable and secure under load.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience, with a specific focus on testing or quality assurance.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Pytest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience using observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, Honeycomb, or NewRelic.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working in an early-stage startup environment, such as Series A, B, or C companies.
- Specific experience conducting security and performance testing.
