The opportunity

As a Senior Software Developer specializing in Order Management Systems, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver high-performance platforms for enterprise retailers. You will work within a cloud-native, serverless environment to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and perfectly integrated. This role is essential for our clients in North America and Europe, as you will help bridge the gap between complex retail challenges and seamless digital commerce solutions using modern technologies like Fluent OMS.

A day in the life

• Design and build robust, scalable solutions using Fluent OMS and POS platforms while writing clean, efficient code that follows architectural best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution diagrams.
• Monitor system performance and resolve support incidents, all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews and testing strategies.

Who you are

You are a seasoned developer with at least 3 years of backend experience, ideally within the retail or commerce sector. You possess a strong technical foundation and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java or Node.js, with additional exposure to React being a significant advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Fluent OMS or similar order management systems.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture, microservices, and serverless computing such as AWS Lambda.
• Experience with GraphQL, API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Residency in Mexico.
