What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our frontend engineering team. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located in countries where we maintain a legal entity. As an engineering-first organization, we rely on our developers to build reliable, scalable platforms that support our massive community of learners. You will work in a fast-paced environment where we deploy code multiple times a day, collaborating closely with product managers and data scientists to build impactful web applications.
What will you do?
- Design and develop intuitive user interfaces that improve the efficiency of our internal tools and external platforms.
- Create and maintain integrations with external vendor tools to ensure our systems remain scalable and high-performing.
- Uphold high standards for engineering quality by performing code reviews, writing documentation, and implementing robust unit and integration tests.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in computer science or equivalent professional experience. We value engineers who are passionate about building technical leverage for their peers and who enjoy working in a data-driven culture. Your technical toolkit should include:
- Expertise in core web technologies, specifically JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks like ReactJS or AngularJS.
- A proven ability to build large-scale web applications with a focus on responsive design.
- Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively across our global team.
