In July 2022, Trackforce Valiant + TrackTik combined to form the world's largest physical security workforce management SaaS company. Our technology provides physical security companies and corporations that employ guards with a single platform to manage their security workforce. We help improve response times, reduce administrative burdens, and lower costs.

Today, Trackforce Valiant + TrackTik serves 3,000+ clients in over 45 countries. We have over 350 employees with offices in Montreal, San Diego, Paris, and London. However, we embrace being remote-first!

Software Developer Backend

We’re excited to announce an opening for a key role on our team. We’re seeking a talented individual with a strong background in developing secure, mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will be skilled at driving innovation while ensuring the reliability and integrity of our core business functions.

Your Day-to-Day:

You will collaborate with a skilled team of software developers to design, scale and deliver new features and services.

Work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Manager, and Scrum Master to ensure efficient delivery and maintain a healthy team dynamic.

Champion best practices in both design and coding, with a strong emphasis on quality, organization, and automation.

Your skills & experience:

5 + years of back-end development experience

Experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony

Experience with Yii Framework is a plus

Experience building REST API’s

Familiar with JSON Schemas, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth

Comfortable with AWS services such as SQS and Lambdas

Knowledge of Node JS and TypeScript is a plus

Practical experience optimizing relational databases, preferably MySQL

Experience writing tests (Unit, Integration and Functional tests)

Experience working in an agile environment/squad.

Ability to lead by example, influencing and mentoring junior developers

Good communicator, you understand your job goes beyond only coding your tickets

Self-starter with a lot of initiative; we won’t be watching your every move, show us what you’ve got!
