We are currently looking for a talented Lead Software Backend Engineer to join our growing team in Poland and help us continue to innovate.

The opportunity

This role is a vital part of our engineering organization. As a lead, you will bridge the gap between high level strategy and technical execution. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, cloud based solutions that help our customers streamline their procurement processes. Your work will directly impact our system stability and performance, and you will play a key role in shaping our technical culture while mentoring the engineers around you.

A day in the life

• You will own the full lifecycle of complex cloud solutions, from initial architectural design to final implementation and testing.
• You will break down large, intricate business needs into manageable components and communicate those requirements clearly to your fellow developers.
• You will actively contribute to our engineering strategy, helping to resolve technical roadblocks and ensuring our systems meet the highest quality standards.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for building scalable, high quality systems. You bring at least 3 years of technical leadership experience and a deep understanding of how to translate business goals into effective technology. You are comfortable working in a microservices environment and have a strong command of the following:

• Python and the Django framework.
• Architectural patterns such as DDD and CQRS.
• Cloud infrastructure and orchestration using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Database management with PostgreSQL.
• Excellent English communication skills, allowing you to explain complex system structures to your team with ease.
