We are looking for a Software Architect to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this hands-on role, you will design the next generation of eCommerce performance and security solutions, working on everything from website optimization to advanced streaming analytics and backend APIs.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation by designing, documenting, and architecting new product features while breaking down complex systems into manageable components for our teams.
- Build high-quality software by actively participating in the development and delivery of the solutions you conceive.
- Collaborate with product managers to discover, scope, and document technical solutions that address specific customer challenges and business opportunities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in full-stack commercial software development using Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Strong expertise in software design and architecture, with a proven ability to drive technical vision across an entire organization.
- Deep understanding of browser-based technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, the DOM model, CORS, and SPAs.
- Proficiency in public cloud environments and best practices, with a strong preference for AWS experience.
- Hands-on experience with Big Data services and technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Redshift.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with product owners, business leaders, and fellow technologists.
