Role at a glance
We are looking for a Junior Social Media Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States or Canada. You will serve as a vital link between our editorial team and our audience, helping to drive engagement through creative content across our social platforms.
Your impact
- Take charge of our daily social presence by distributing articles, podcasts, and live updates while covering breaking news and major sporting events.
- Collaborate with our editorial and design teams to craft compelling copy and visual assets that amplify our best storytelling.
- Analyze performance metrics and conduct ongoing testing to refine our strategy and ensure our content resonates with fans, with a special focus on soccer coverage.
What you'll need
You should have 1 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media, along with a strong grasp of data analytics to track our growth. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and possesses a deep, working knowledge of major sports, particularly soccer. You must be comfortable managing multiple social channels, including X, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Because our newsroom never sleeps, you must be prepared to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. A creative mindset, excellent writing skills, and the ability to collaborate across various departments are essential for success in this role.
Perks and compensation
