About the Role
We are searching for a Senior SME Beekeeper to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this position, you will act as our primary internal authority on all things related to bees and hive health. You will bridge the gap between field expertise and product development, ensuring that our technological solutions truly serve the needs of commercial beekeepers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as our internal lead for beekeeping knowledge, keeping us informed about the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
- Partner with our product management team to design and refine tools that solve real-world challenges for beekeepers.
- Perform detailed market research to pinpoint industry gaps and growth opportunities that will guide our long-term product strategy.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep background in the industry and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in commercial beekeeping, including a mastery of hive management and bee behavior.
- Proven expertise regarding the business and operational side of commercial beekeeping within the United States.
- A solid grasp of product management concepts and a desire to work alongside cross-functional teams like engineering and design.
- Strong analytical abilities to translate data and market trends into actionable insights.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to represent our company to external partners and growers.
- A genuine commitment to sustainability and a willingness to spend time working in the field.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is considered a valuable asset.

This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
