The role

We are offering a SkillBridge Internship Fellowship designed specifically for transitioning service members. This is a remote, student-level internship that provides hands-on experience within our engineering and data science divisions. We treat our fellows as full members of the team, creating an individualized plan to help you gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and professional workflows over a period of 90 to 150 days.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate within functional and cross-functional teams to support our primary business lines and ongoing projects.
• Engage in day-to-day operations, including tasks related to computer vision, edge computing, and machine learning for retail analytics.
• Develop your technical expertise through mentorship and direct involvement in building robust, AI-driven software solutions.

Skills and experience

We are looking for candidates with a background in computer science, software development, or electrical engineering. You should have a foundational understanding of the following:

• Programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Spring, React, TypeScript, C/C++, C#/.NET, and SQL.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools.
• A strong desire to learn, a humble attitude, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A self-starting mindset with a focus on simple, effective problem solving rather than over-engineering.
