At Vareto, we are transforming how organizations plan for the future by moving beyond fragmented spreadsheets and legacy tools. Our platform provides a modern, cloud-based solution for financial planning and reporting, and we are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us build a robust foundation for our growing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand our cloud infrastructure, including our DevOps tooling and disaster recovery programs.
- Develop infrastructure patterns that support the launch of new product features.
- Advocate for security, compliance, and infrastructure stability during the engineering design phase.
- Use code to define infrastructure and automate operational tasks to reduce manual effort.
- Oversee the operation of our systems while adhering to industry best practices.
- Contribute to the culture and growth of our engineering organization.
Must-haves
- Proven experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure for multi-tenant web applications.
- Practical knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub or GitLab.
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
- Ability to automate workflows using Python or BASH.
- Experience managing containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working within organizations that have achieved SOC 2 Type 2 or ISO 27001 compliance.
- Background in administering cloud-based relational databases like Aurora Postgres.
