Site Reliability Engineer at Pagoda

We are looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to help us innovate and scale our systems from anywhere in the U.S.

What you'll be doing

• You will troubleshoot support escalations and manage the routing of incidents to the appropriate teams to ensure rapid resolution.
• You will design and build custom tools to address gaps in our incident management and software delivery processes.
• You will optimize our Software Development Life Cycle and implement strategies to boost overall system reliability and performance.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess at least two years of relevant professional experience. We are looking for someone with strong technical proficiency in the following areas:

• Expertise in writing complex shell scripts using Linux or Bash for automation and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools to manage scalable cloud environments, including IAM, VPCs, load balancers, and network peering.
• Advanced configuration management skills using Ansible to maintain consistency across complex environments.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Go, or Ruby to streamline software delivery.
• Experience designing container-based infrastructure, including image management, scaling, and networking.
• At least one year of experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like BuildKite, GitHub Actions, or Flux.
• Fluency in English to ensure seamless communication and documentation across our global teams.

What you'll get

The base salary range for this position is $154,000 to $188,000, depending on your specific leveling, skills, and location.
