GoDaddy is a rapidly growing technology company dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs worldwide by providing the tools they need to build professional websites, attract customers, and manage their businesses online. We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom, working in a fully remote capacity.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain our core Linux-based infrastructure.
Ensure high levels of system reliability, availability, and performance.
Partner with our development teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application requirements.
Monitor systems proactively to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Streamline operations by automating routine tasks and processes.
Help define and contribute to our internal operational standards and best practices.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to support our production environments.

Must-haves

At least 3 years of professional experience working as a Linux SRE.
Comprehensive knowledge of Linux system administration, including server configuration, troubleshooting, and installation.
Strong proficiency in Bash scripting.
Practical experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Salt.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within a team.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra.
Scripting proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar languages.
