Site Reliability Engineer at Rilldata

We are looking for a talented engineer to help us maintain the high availability and performance that our thousands of users have come to expect.

Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, meaning you can work from anywhere in the world while collaborating with our distributed team.

Your impact

• You will design and implement state-of-the-art technical architectures that leverage automation to simplify our product delivery processes.
• You will build out our monitoring systems by focusing on the three pillars of observability, which include metrics, tracing, and logs.
• You will take ownership of the entire deployment stack while implementing cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

What you'll need

We know that managing streaming analytics pipelines requires a wide range of expertise, so we do not expect you to know everything on day one. However, the ideal candidate will bring the following:

• At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably within an Enterprise SaaS company focused on data, analytics, or infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as cloud data warehouses.
• Deep experience managing high-scale distributed systems and service-oriented architectures using tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure technologies including Terraform and Helm.
• Experience building continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Fluency in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python or Golang.
• Hands-on experience configuring observability tools like Datadog and Prometheus to ensure system performance and security.
• A proactive mindset that allows you to analyze complex requirements and determine high-impact solutions.
• Professional proficiency in English.
