Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role that directly impacts national security? At Metrea, we specialize in transforming commercial innovation into practical solutions for the most complex defense challenges. We operate across air, space, cyber, and simulation domains, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Site Lead for our Manned Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance operations. If you thrive in dynamic environments and want to contribute to a mission-driven organization, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
What you bring
As a Senior Site Lead, you will manage flight and ground operations in remote, international environments. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States with significant international deployment requirements. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing all site staff, aircraft, and operational systems to maximize mission results.
- Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and security requirements.
- Acting as a primary liaison between our company and government or military representatives at forward operating locations.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of aviation management experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Management or Aviation. You must be a United States citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance. We value individuals who possess strong strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and team-building skills, alongside a high level of proficiency in the English language. You should be comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite and hold a valid driver’s license and a current US passport. Because this role involves working in austere conditions with minimal supervision, we require a self-starter who is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of performance and safety.
What we offer
We provide a unique opportunity to work on critical defense projects that make a tangible difference. Our team members benefit from a collaborative environment that values expertise and innovation. While deployed, you will be part of a rotation schedule that typically involves 60 to 75 days of OCONUS work followed by a similar period off-site, allowing for a structured balance despite the demanding nature of field operations.
How to Apply
If you are interested in joining our team and meeting these challenges head-on, we encourage you to submit your application. We look forward to reviewing your experience and discussing how your background aligns with our mission at Metrea.
