We are looking for a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a contract basis. Our organization is focused on streamlining our internal processes, and we are currently prioritizing a shift toward standardizing our systems. By moving away from heavy customization and embracing out of the box configurations, we aim to simplify our infrastructure and ensure our future upgrades are as seamless as possible. We need someone who can step in, work independently, and help us refine our platform to better serve our functional teams.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead the effort to redesign our portal pages by utilizing standard out of the box features rather than custom code.
- You will manage the upgrade of our ServiceNow environment, specifically focusing on the transition to the Helsinki version.
- You will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical staff by translating complex code into clear, simple terms for our business analysts and functional teams.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in ServiceNow development and a deep understanding of its native capabilities. We value candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Extensive experience working within the ServiceNow ecosystem, particularly with out of the box functionality.
- Proven ability to handle system upgrades, with specific experience moving to the Helsinki version.
- Exceptional communication skills that allow you to collaborate effectively with developers, managers, and functional stakeholders.
- A high level of proficiency in English to ensure clear documentation and team interaction.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own tasks without constant supervision.
- Familiarity with Box and its integration within a corporate environment.
- Experience supporting Human Resources workflows and technical requirements.
