What you bring

As a Senior ZK Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our research and development efforts. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates anywhere in the world. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working on complex systems that define the future of blockchain technology. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and optimizing our zkEVM circuits to improve throughput, reduce proof generation costs, and enhance finality times.
• Staying current with the latest research in zero-knowledge literature and collaborating with the broader blockchain community to elevate our technical visibility.
• Leading circuit implementation and prover development while mentoring junior team members to ensure we maintain high standards of code quality and performance.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile startup environment. You should possess strong expertise in C++ or Rust, along with a deep understanding of cryptography and system design. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in ZK proof technology, including familiarity with r1cs, plonkish, AIR, and stark. We value individuals who can take a project from the initial specification phase through to production. You must be an excellent communicator in English, capable of working effectively in an asynchronous, remote setting. A humble, proactive, and collaborative mindset is essential for success in our team.
