Senior WordPress Developer (Remote, Project-based) at Invitro Capital

Invitro Capital is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team remotely on a project-based basis. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing WordPress-based websites, plugins, and themes. You will collaborate with our team to create high-quality, visually appealing, and functional websites for our clients. Note: This position is remote and project-based. Working hours and project durations will vary based on project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Independently collaborate with stakeholders to transform the design concept for a specific project into a fully functional WordPress website, ensuring a cohesive and integrated user experience throughout the development process.
• Execute both front-end and back-end development tasks for the designated project, including the implementation of a custom WordPress theme, responsive layouts, database integration, and server-side scripting, managing all development aspects independently within the project timeline.
• Customize the WordPress theme and plugins specifically for the designated project, aligning them precisely with the design specifications to enhance the website's functionality and visual appeal, while also developing custom WordPress plugins and modules tailored to the project's unique requirements.
• Oversee the migration of existing content to WordPress for the designated project, ensuring the preservation of design integrity and consistent user experience, while also managing content updates, revisions, and optimization independently to maintain design coherence and user engagement for the specific project.
• Implement robust security measures independently to safeguard the WordPress website for the designated project, conducting thorough testing to validate design implementation and functionality, while also performing quality assurance checks to identify and address any design or development discrepancies before the project deployment.

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress CMS, Php, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, and templates.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies including responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress websites.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
