Senior Web Application Developer at Massschoolbuildings

We are looking for a Senior Web Application Developer to join our Information Technology team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will serve as a vital resource for the MSBA, helping us build and maintain the websites and front-end interfaces that support our mission. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our web projects, from initial architecture and design to testing and final implementation. This is a hybrid position based in the United States where you will collaborate closely with other IT professionals and provide leadership to our team of developers.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex user requirements into robust application architectures and intuitive front-end designs.
• Design, develop, and implement component-based applications while ensuring all projects meet our high standards for usability and performance.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to junior web developers, guiding them through technical challenges and helping them achieve their performance goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to clean, scalable code. We require the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree and over 10 years of relevant professional experience in web development.
• Proven experience in supervising and mentoring development teams within an Agile environment.
• Expertise in C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET frameworks, alongside proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Strong familiarity with Git for version control and experience working within Azure cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and adapt to new technologies as they emerge.
