As we continue to expand our international footprint, we are looking for a visionary Senior Vice President of Engineering to guide our technical departments, including software development, site reliability, quality assurance, security, and network operations. This is a vital executive position where you will report to the Chief Product Officer and play a central role in shaping our long-term technical strategy.
Key outcomes
- Direct the architectural evolution of our platforms to ensure they remain secure, reliable, and highly scalable.
- Align our engineering roadmaps with broader company objectives while driving improvements in velocity, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strict adherence to international security and compliance standards, such as GDPR, ISO, and PCI, by embedding a security-first mindset across all teams.
- Cultivate a high-performing global culture by mentoring leadership staff and attracting top-tier talent.
- Execute comprehensive engineering strategies that foster innovation and support our growth trajectory.
- Exercise full oversight of an annual budget exceeding $10M to ensure optimal resource allocation and strong return on investment.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of executive leadership experience, specifically managing global engineering teams of 150 or more people across various time zones.
- Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of cloud-native products using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of stable and secure system architecture principles.
- Proven ability to manage significant budgets of $10M or more while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities and a history of driving innovation within the telecommunications or software industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and accountability across diverse teams.
- Fluency in English.
