With multiple FDA clearances and recent funding, we are growing rapidly and looking for mission-driven professionals to join our team.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity in Chicago. In this senior-level role, you will play a vital part in our Discovery and Clinical portfolios by ensuring our wearable sensors and monitoring systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between technical design and clinical application, helping us deliver life-changing technology to those who need it most.
What will you do?
- Lead the planning and execution of verification strategies for multiple projects, ensuring that all deliverables align with project timelines and readiness goals.
- Translate complex requirements and design specifications into comprehensive verification protocols that account for both technical design and real-world clinical use cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using languages such as Python and C++ while performing rigorous manual and automated testing to identify and document system anomalies.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, Agile environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in verification, validation, or automation engineering, ideally within the medical device or a similarly regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of system-level design, requirements management, and relevant standards such as FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and firmware engineers.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining a commitment to user-centered product quality.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $135,000, depending on your experience. In addition to our compensation package, you will have access to a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support your health and professional growth:
- Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- A yearly stipend dedicated to your professional development.
- The opportunity to work with a passionate, diverse team dedicated to revolutionizing the field of wireless medical monitoring.
