Senior UX Designer at Arkose Labs - Costa Rica

At Arkose Labs, we are on a mission to build a safer online world by protecting consumers from spam and digital abuse. As a 2023 G2 leader in bot detection and mitigation, our AI-powered platform helps Fortune 500 companies and global brands like Microsoft, OpenAI, and Roblox secure their platforms while maintaining a smooth experience for legitimate users. We are currently looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in Costa Rica. In this role, you will lead the design of our command center and self-service portals, ensuring our anti-fraud solutions integrate seamlessly into our clients' own applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams and engineers to translate complex requirements into high-quality mockups, guiding both long-term product vision and immediate tactical projects.
• Develop and customize client GUIs using CSS, JSON, and JavaScript, while utilizing tools like Figma and Sketch to ensure a visually cohesive experience.
• Leverage data and analytics to inform your design decisions, ensuring that every interface balances user needs with our core business and engineering objectives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience designing SaaS portals or B2B applications, supported by a formal education in UX/UI or a related field.
• A robust portfolio that clearly demonstrates your process, including problem statements, ideation, and final outcomes.
• Strong technical proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, with the ability to translate design mockups directly into responsive code.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards, including focus states, tab navigation, and screen reader compatibility.
• Proven experience working with established design systems and project management tools like Jira and Miro.
• A proactive mindset that thrives in dynamic environments and can simplify complex technical challenges into elegant user experiences.
