Fuel Labs is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer
We are Fuel, a team building a high-performance blockchain operating system that pushes the boundaries of what is possible on Ethereum. By combining high throughput with a focus on decentralization and security, we simplify development for builders globally through innovations like the Fuel Virtual Machine and the Sway programming language. We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our globally dispersed, mission-driven team as we continue to scale Ethereum.
Responsibilities
- Standardize and redesign our application interfaces to ensure a consistent, user-friendly experience.
- Perform UX research and map user journeys to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate design concepts into functional reality.
- Develop and maintain a robust design system in Figma to improve team efficiency and visual uniformity.
- Analyze user feedback from various channels to proactively suggest and implement design enhancements.
- Design new features by creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that undergo iterative usability testing.
Must-haves
- At least 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, ideally within the Web3, fintech, or banking sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, with a proven ability to manage complex design systems.
- A deep understanding of UX research methodologies, user flows, and journey mapping.
- The ability to work autonomously and make informed design decisions with minimal oversight.
- Experience working alongside engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible.
- A solid grasp of blockchain concepts, particularly regarding security, wallets, and financial transactions.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality work, which must be included with your application.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience with front-end development.
- A background in conducting user testing and utilizing analytics to drive design decisions.
