At Turtle Rock, we build the games we personally want to play. We take pride in fostering a collaborative atmosphere where every team member has the creative freedom to contribute and grow. While our home base is in Orange County, California, we offer flexible work arrangements that include remote options across North America. We invite you to join our award-winning development team as we work together to craft our next AAA title.

What you'll be doing

You will collaborate with our content creators to design and build new pipelines and tools within the Unreal Engine ecosystem.

You will develop intuitive tools that simplify the content creation process for both our internal staff and external partners.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of professional experience in tools programming. You are comfortable working in an iteration-driven environment with minimal oversight and possess strong communication skills. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, along with the following technical qualifications:

A solid understanding of various data and file formats, including their respective tradeoffs.
Bonus points if you have experience with Python, C#, or shell scripting for automation.
Bonus points if you are familiar with Maya, Photoshop, or 3D Studio Max.
Bonus points if you have previously shipped a multiplatform title or worked on multiplayer FPS games.

What you'll get

The estimated base pay range for this position is $121,000 to $166,000 USD. In addition to your salary, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family:

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance with 100% coverage.
401k matching to help you plan for the future.
Flexible work arrangements, including the option to work remotely.
