What you'll be doing
- You will collaborate with our content creators to design and build new pipelines and tools within the Unreal Engine ecosystem.
- You will take ownership of existing tools, maintaining and extending them to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our projects.
- You will develop intuitive tools that simplify the content creation process for both our internal staff and external partners.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of professional experience in tools programming. You are comfortable working in an iteration-driven environment with minimal oversight and possess strong communication skills. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, along with the following technical qualifications:
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Visual Studio.
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- A solid understanding of various data and file formats, including their respective tradeoffs.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Python, C#, or shell scripting for automation.
- Bonus points if you are familiar with Maya, Photoshop, or 3D Studio Max.
- Bonus points if you have previously shipped a multiplatform title or worked on multiplayer FPS games.
