We were founded on the principle that data teams should focus on innovation rather than the manual work of wrangling data from digital analytics platforms. Following our $40 million Series B funding round led by NEA, we are looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our global team. This is a fully remote, full-time position specifically for candidates based on the US West Coast, such as California or Washington State.
Key outcomes
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers, providing guidance on best-practice architecture and infrastructure management.
- Enhance our 24x7 monitoring suite to proactively identify and resolve data delivery delays, outages, or service level breaches.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer deployments, including infrastructure setups, shutdowns, and performance optimization.
- Streamline internal processes to reduce manual intervention and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with our Site Reliability Engineering and broader engineering teams to ensure complex issues are routed and resolved effectively.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically AWS and GCP.
- Solid experience with JavaScript and SQL.
- A background in web development or infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers with empathy.
- An analytical mindset that remains calm and prioritized during high-pressure situations.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, along with a strong commitment to security and documentation standards.
- Ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule within the UTC-7 to UTC-8 time zone.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
