Zoox is currently working on an ambitious mission to create a full-stack autonomous mobility solution designed specifically for the passenger experience. We are building a ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the necessary ecosystem to bring this technology to urban environments. As we continue to grow, our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join us on a contractor basis. In this role, you will help us scale our organization by managing a diverse set of technical roles across areas like artificial intelligence, software, robotics, and vehicle engineering. You will serve as a key partner to our hiring managers, taking full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle to find and secure world-class talent.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruiting process while building strong partnerships with hiring managers and acting as a dedicated advocate for your candidates.
- Proactively source, screen, and evaluate potential hires to ensure they are a great fit for our technical and behavioral requirements.
- Lead the interview and decision-making process by coordinating effectively with panelists, leadership, and hiring managers to finalize offers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting within a competitive industry, including proven success in sourcing, screening, and closing candidates.
- Strong ability to assess technical aptitude and cultural fit, paired with deep industry knowledge to identify the right skills for our specific needs.
- Excellent consultative and interpersonal communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing candidates using LinkedIn and other creative, alternative techniques.
- A genuine passion for our mission in the autonomous and electric vehicle space is highly valued.
What we offer
This contract position offers a pay range of $55 to $85 per hour. As a member of our team, you will benefit from our hybrid work model, which includes working from our headquarters in Foster City three days per week. You will also be eligible for a benefits package provided through our staffing vendor.
