At Zoox, we are building a comprehensive, full-stack autonomous mobility solution designed specifically for the passenger experience. Our work sits at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and design as we develop a ground-up autonomous vehicle fleet and the ecosystem necessary to bring this technology to urban environments. We are currently searching for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our high-performing Talent Acquisition team on a contract basis. In this role, you will help us scale our organization by managing a diverse portfolio of roles across fields like artificial intelligence, software, robotics, and vehicle engineering.
Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle, from qualifying requirements to closing world-class engineering talent.
- Partner closely with hiring managers, interview panelists, and company leadership to facilitate effective hiring decisions.
- Source high-quality candidates and conduct thorough screenings to evaluate both technical aptitude and behavioral fit.
- Manage the offer process in collaboration with leadership and HR teams.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to our candidate experience and overall recruiting processes.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting within a competitive industry.
- Strong proficiency in sourcing candidates using LinkedIn and alternative creative techniques.
- Deep understanding of technical industry landscapes and the ability to assess relevant skills.
- Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- A genuine passion for the mission of Zoox and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working within a recruiting agency environment.
- Expertise in using an ATS, such as Lever, to track metrics and build robust talent pipelines.
- A strong interest in the electric and autonomous vehicle industry.
- Proven success in managing complex, highly technical roles.
Compensation
This contract position offers a pay range of $114,400 to $176,800 annually, or $55 to $85 per hour. As a contractor, you will be employed through a vendor and will be eligible for a benefits package provided by that vendor. This role is hybrid, requiring you to work from our Foster City headquarters three days per week.
