Are you ready to help build the future of autonomous mobility? At Zoox, we are creating a full-stack, ground-up autonomous vehicle fleet designed specifically for the passenger experience. We sit at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and design, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our growing team as we scale our organization to bring this vision to life in urban environments.
What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join us on a contractor basis. In this role, you will be a key partner to our hiring managers, helping us identify and secure world-class engineering talent across fields like artificial intelligence, robotics, and vehicle engineering. Your work will be based in our Foster City headquarters, where you will spend three days a week in the office as part of our hybrid work model. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full-cycle recruiting process, from initial requirement gathering to closing top-tier candidates.
- Proactively sourcing and screening candidates to ensure a strong technical and cultural fit for our teams.
- Partnering with company leadership and interview panelists to facilitate effective hiring decisions and manage the offer process.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting within a competitive industry. We value candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach, as you will be communicating with stakeholders at all levels of our organization. You must be proficient in using LinkedIn and other sourcing techniques to build robust talent pipelines. A deep understanding of technical aptitude and the ability to evaluate candidates for both behavioral and technical alignment is essential. While not required, expertise with an ATS like Lever and a genuine interest in the electric and autonomous vehicle industry will set you apart.
What we offer
This contract position offers a pay range of 110,000 USD to 170,000 USD, which translates to 55 USD to 85 USD per hour. As a member of our team, you will enjoy the following benefits:
