At Zoox, we are building a fully autonomous, ground-up vehicle fleet designed to transform urban mobility. We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our high-performing team on a contract basis to help us scale our engineering organization as we advance our mission in robotics, artificial intelligence, and vehicle design.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process while building strong partnerships with hiring managers and advocating for top-tier candidates.
- Source talent, review resumes, and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure a strong match for our technical roles.
- Guide hiring managers, interview panelists, and company leadership through the decision-making process.
- Lead the offer stage by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and HR teams.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to our recruiting workflows and the overall candidate experience.
Must-haves
- At least 6 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting within a competitive environment.
- Proven ability to assess both technical aptitude and behavioral fit.
- Strong industry knowledge and the ability to understand complex technical skill sets.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company.
- Proficiency in sourcing talent via LinkedIn and other creative channels.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- A genuine interest in the electric and autonomous vehicle industry.
- Expertise in using an ATS, such as Lever, to track metrics and build effective talent pipelines.
- Prior experience working within a recruiting agency.
- Experience managing the recruitment of complex, specialized technical roles.
Benefits
This contract position offers a pay range of $55 to $85 per hour. Please note that employment is facilitated through a vendor, and you will be eligible for the benefits package provided by that vendor.
- Hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days per week at our Foster City headquarters.
