At Zoox, we are building a complete, ground-up autonomous mobility solution designed entirely around the passenger. Our mission sits at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and human-centered design as we work to bring the next generation of urban transportation to life. We are currently looking for a driven professional to join our high-performing Talent Acquisition team and help us scale our organization as we move through our prototyping, pilot, and launch phases.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join us on a contractor basis. In this role, you will take ownership of the full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of specialized positions in fields like artificial intelligence, software, robotics, and vehicle engineering. You will partner closely with our hiring managers to identify top-tier talent and act as a key ambassador for the Zoox brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle, from qualifying requirements and sourcing candidates to closing world-class engineering talent.
- Evaluate candidates through resume screening and interviews to ensure they are a strong match for both technical and behavioral requirements.
- Facilitate the decision-making process by working alongside interview panelists, hiring managers, and company leadership to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a high level of dedication and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting within a competitive industry.
- Strong proficiency in sourcing talent using LinkedIn and other creative, alternative techniques.
- A consultative approach with excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate effectively across all levels of the company.
- Deep industry knowledge that enables you to understand complex technical skills and identify relevant talent.
Location
This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work from our headquarters in Foster City three days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
This contract position offers a pay range of $110,000 to $170,000 per year, or $55 to $85 per hour. As a contractor, you will be employed through a vendor and will be eligible for the benefits package provided by that vendor. We also support a hybrid work model to provide flexibility for our team members.
