About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team on a six-month contract basis. This is a vital role for our organization, with the potential to convert into a permanent position depending on performance and business needs. You will report to the Head of Recruiting and serve as a key partner in scaling our engineering and data science departments. Your work will involve managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening to closing top-tier technical talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for specialized roles including data scientists, software engineers, and machine learning platform engineers.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and align talent acquisition strategies with the broader goals of our R&D organization.
- Utilize data-driven sourcing methods and diverse platforms to build and nurture a robust pipeline of both active and passive candidates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting within a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- A proven history of successfully hiring senior, staff, and principal-level engineers and data scientists.
- Deep proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Google Scholar, and advanced Boolean search techniques.
- A strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and work independently.
- Experience in climate tech, geospatial fields, or remote sensing is considered a significant plus.
Location
This position is based in the United States. We operate on a hybrid model, with the option to work remotely or from our office in Palo Alto, California, where we gather in-person twice a week.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this contract position is $114,400 to $145,600 annually. In addition to competitive pay, you will benefit from our hybrid work environment, which offers flexibility in how and where you perform your best work.
