Are you passionate about the intersection of renewable energy and the circular economy? At SOLARCYCLE, we are building the future of clean energy by providing a responsible, end-of-life solution for solar panels. Since our launch in 2022, we have assembled a world-class team with deep expertise from industry leaders like Amazon and SunPower to scale our advanced recycling technology. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our facility in Odessa, Texas. In this executive-level role, you will lead our field operations and drive critical initiatives to enhance our recycling processes, implement new equipment, and optimize factory throughput.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all work adheres to strict timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards while utilizing tools like Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and operations, to design and execute process improvements and automation initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversee the implementation of new factory equipment and technologies, managing vendor coordination and feasibility studies to ensure seamless integration into our production lines.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required, with a master's degree considered a plus.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in project management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management software, such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project, and the ability to present project statuses clearly using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Odessa, Texas for daily in-person work.
- Certification in project management, such as a PMP or PgMP, is highly desirable.
