Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a senior-level position that operates on a hybrid basis, with a preference for candidates in the Greater Seattle area. You will report directly to our CTO and play a critical role in shaping our core technology stack.

Your impact

• Design, develop, and implement high-performance system libraries primarily using Rust.
• Build and maintain APIs for our zkVM, ensuring robust cross-version support.
• Contribute to our open-source repositories on GitHub while applying best practices in systems architecture and compiler development.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be an expert in Rust with a deep understanding of systems programming and computer architecture. We are looking for a polyglot engineer who is comfortable working across different languages and environments. You should have a background in compiler development, experience with LLVM, and a solid grasp of blockchain technology and zero-knowledge proofs. Familiarity with serialization frameworks like Protocol Buffers or FlatBuffers is essential, as is a history of contributing to open-source projects. You must be fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.
