About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the health and efficiency of our IT ecosystem. You will handle complex troubleshooting, lead technology evaluations, and manage the lifecycle of our IT assets. This is a hybrid position, requiring you to be on-site at our San Francisco office for 2 to 4 days per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the configuration, provisioning, and ongoing support of our core IT infrastructure, including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Jira, and MDM solutions for both MacOS and Windows.
- Provide high-quality, service-oriented support to our staff, which includes resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining office networks, and managing A/V setups.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of company assets, from initial procurement and deployment to decommissioning, while developing clear documentation and security policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience as a systems administrator or network administrator, ideally within a fast-paced tech or startup environment.
- Deep proficiency in systems architecture, with the ability to independently manage core IT systems and collaborate with other teams on specific software administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to creating detailed, step-by-step technical workflows.
- A customer-focused mindset and a high sense of urgency regarding project completion and issue resolution.
Location
This position is based in the United States, with a hybrid requirement of 2 to 4 days per month at our office in San Francisco.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $134,000 to $151,000 USD. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal well-being:
