Senior Support Specialist Finance & Accounting at Xentral

The role

We are seeking a Senior Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote-friendly position where you will serve as a technical expert for our finance and accounting modules. You will be the bridge between our customers and our product, ensuring that users have the guidance they need to succeed within our ERP ecosystem.

Core responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex support inquiries regarding the configuration, functionality, and requirements of our accounting modules.
• Collaborate directly with our product team to influence the development of our finance and accounting features.
• Act as a subject matter expert by sharing your knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the creation of internal documentation and training materials.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in finance and accounting, specifically regarding tax accounting, VAT regulations, and the requirements of modern e-commerce operations. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience with Datev, with a preference for familiarity with Amainvoice or Amazon VCS.
• Practical experience working with ERP or CRM systems from a user perspective, such as SAP, JTL, Odoo, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to moderate high-level customer meetings.
• Fluency in both German (at least C1 level) and English.
