We are looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. Lean has evolved from a pioneering Open Finance platform into a multi-product infrastructure leader powering payments, data, and lending across the MENA region. Having tripled in size over the last year, we are backed by major investors like General Catalyst and Sequoia and are currently trusted by over 300 clients. In this role, you will initially focus on operational support for our recent crypto payments acquisition before transitioning to support our core financial API products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for partners and end-users, managing inquiries through ticketing systems, Slack, email, and voice communication.
- Investigate and resolve complex transaction issues, including tracing blockchain activity and coordinating directly with payout partners to ensure funds are credited correctly.
- Analyze system logs and utilize tools like Postman and SQL to identify root causes, while documenting workflows and escalating bugs to our engineering teams with clear impact summaries.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with APIs, including a strong proficiency in Postman.
- Deep understanding of blockchain network operations, such as transaction lifecycles, gas fees, and wallet addresses.
- Technical competency in reading logs, understanding client-server architecture, OAuth basics, and writing SQL queries.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Prior experience supporting B2B or enterprise clients, ideally within the fintech or crypto sectors.
- Fluency in English is required.
