The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Strategic Accounts Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Sales, you will take ownership of a portfolio of high-potential accounts, acting as the primary driver for our expansion across global customer sites. This role is essential for elevating our customer relationships from tactical engagements to long-term strategic partnerships, ensuring that our iPSC-derived cell products and services become the standard in pharma, biotech, and research organizations worldwide.
A day in the life
- You will lead the global strategy for your assigned accounts, identifying opportunities to expand our footprint and drive revenue growth across our entire portfolio of products and services.
- You will act as a bridge between our internal teams and our customers, managing complex relationships and ensuring that we deliver value-driven, customer-focused solutions.
- You will maintain a rigorous approach to business development, which includes active pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and the creation of detailed account plans to guide your daily efforts.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the Life Sciences sector and a passion for Drug Discovery. You possess the commercial acumen to navigate complex global organizations and the technical knowledge to engage effectively with both bench scientists and executive decision-makers.
- You hold at least a BSc in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with a solid grasp of iPSC applications.
- You have proven experience in international sales management and strategic account leadership within the biotech or pharma industries.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills in English.
- You are comfortable with a hybrid work environment and are prepared to travel internationally for up to 60% of your time.
- An MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline is considered a plus.
