We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our team in the United States on a full-time, hybrid basis to help lead the architecture and development of our internal systems.
Key outcomes
- Lead the architectural design and hands-on development of our Ruby on Rails-based enterprise resource planning software.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and ideation through to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in sales, marketing, ad ops, and planning to translate business requirements into functional, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.
- Drive technical decision-making to ensure our infrastructure remains fault-tolerant, maintainable, and scalable.
- Refactor existing codebases while implementing new features that support our company's operational and financial objectives.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with peers to build modern, responsive, and intuitive systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a deep expertise in Ruby on Rails.
- Proven track record of building and scaling complex, high-impact applications.
- Strong proficiency in database design and the creation of robust, scalable application schemas.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions that align with broader business goals.
- A firm grasp of industry-standard software development best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluency in English.
