About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be the primary architect and lead developer for our internal Enterprise Resource Planning software. This system is a critical driver of our operational efficiency and financial success. You will work across the entire product lifecycle, from initial ideation and design to deployment and long-term maintenance, ensuring our tools remain scalable and effective for our internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and ongoing development of our Ruby on Rails-based internal ERP software.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, ad ops, marketing, and planning, to translate business requirements into functional, user-friendly technical solutions.
- Drive high-level technical discussions to ensure our infrastructure remains efficient, fault-tolerant, and maintainable as we scale.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a deep focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Proven track record of building and scaling complex, enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong expertise in database design and creating robust, scalable application schemas.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions that align with broader company objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
