We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our team in a hybrid capacity within the United States.
What is this role?
We are searching for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that requires deep expertise in Ruby on Rails. You will play a pivotal role in leading the architecture and development of our internal Enterprise Resource Planning software, which is essential for automating our operations and supporting our financial growth. If you enjoy a hands-on approach to complex engineering challenges and want to influence the entire product lifecycle, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
What will you do?
- Take the lead on architecting and developing our Rails-based internal ERP software to ensure it remains a robust cornerstone of our business infrastructure.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, which includes everything from initial concept and design to deployment, ongoing enhancement, and refactoring of existing code.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, such as our sales, planning, ad ops, and marketing teams, to transform their requirements into efficient and user-friendly technical solutions.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building scalable systems. We are looking for the following qualities:
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a heavy focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Proven ability to design and scale complex applications, including the creation of robust database schemas.
- A strategic mindset that allows you to make technical decisions that align with broader company goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of industry standards and best practices in software development.
- Fluency in English.
What's in it for you?
We believe in fostering a flexible environment that supports our team members. As part of our commitment to our staff, we offer:
- Hybrid work arrangements to provide a balance between collaborative office time and focused remote work.
