Senior Solidity Engineer at Obol Labs

The role

We are looking for a Senior Solidity Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a pivotal role in making distributed validators ubiquitous across the staking community. You will work from anywhere, ideally within the GMT-8 to GMT+3 time zones, to help us build software that makes decentralized staking accessible and community-owned.

Core responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and develop Solidity integrations that allow Ethereum staking solutions to incorporate distributed validators.
• Create robust tooling and comprehensive documentation to simplify the programmatic deployment of distributed validators for other developers.
• Maintain the highest standards of security for our smart contracts by utilizing standardized libraries, thorough testing, formal verification, and supporting external audits.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Solidity development.
• Proven track record of deploying Solidity applications to the Ethereum mainnet.
• Strong proficiency with the Foundry development framework.
• Deep understanding of test-driven development and effective software testing practices within the web3 ecosystem.
• Up-to-date knowledge regarding upcoming Ethereum hard forks and improvement proposals.
• Professional fluency in English.
