What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Bangalore or Pune, India. You will play a vital role in the evolution of our high-performance, data-driven Java enterprise application, which handles complex scheduling and optimization algorithms for our web and mobile platforms.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise-grade Java code while contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with our CTO, architects, and QA engineers to develop high-quality features, conduct design reviews, and ensure our solutions meet rigorous performance standards.
• Proactively debug complex technical issues, mentor fellow team members, and contribute to long-term architectural planning to support our rapid growth.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in backend development and a passion for building distributed systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with backend technologies including Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL.
• Proven experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications and designing robust APIs.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering software in cloud-based environments like AWS.
• Familiarity with Hibernate, JSON, and frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
